Annie Lennox on HIV/AIDS
Annie Lennox has been deeply involved in the AIDS-advocacy since she visited Cape Town in 2003 and participated in an a music concert and an event with president Nelson Mandela. Lennox, who is a singer, songwriter and performer, has focused her attention to the issues related to women's rights in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Lennox, who is a global AIDS-activist, was interviewed when she visited the XVII International AIDS Conference in Mexico City in August 2008.
